Steak Knife

Steak knife, just the one, forged from with two alloys selected to give a nice contrast when etched and to take a nice edge, easily.These are a quintessential forging, with two tapers running though the handle and the blade. We were trying for 4 but lost one to the gods of forging so we’re spitting them into singles Blade Materials:  EN42j (from Sheffield) and 15n20 pattern welded, 60 layers (ish) Length: 220mm, blade 100mm.  Handle, unconventionally stuck on the bottom.Materials: bog oak from the fens at 5500years old
